I am not a designer

A friend of mine complained about my old sidebar logo thing, so I’ve replaced it with a much more subtle upper-lefthand thing. What a typical male. I’m still trying to come up with an actual logo, but I’m kind of stuck. Two possible sources of inspiration:

I recently returned from a family gathering in Jasper, Indiana. If you’ve never been, you’re not missing much. I got to eat German food of questionable authenticity, play mini golf on an uninspired course operated by a possible racist, and swelter in the country heat. On the plus side, the local Buy Low had Krispy Kremes. My only regret is that I never went to Shoney’s, which must surely be a culinary marvel.
