Ha ha! …lloween

Halloween is tomorrow, but the festivities in Madison started early. State Street was bathed in the unearthly glow of giant flood lamps since Thursday evening. It seemed like there were more policemen than revelers on the street Friday and Saturday night, which may explain why I’ve yet to hear about any rioting this year.

For those who don’t know, Madison’s Halloween festivities were, apparently, ranked as the third biggest party in the country after New Year’s Eve at Times Square, and Mardi Gras in New Orleans. I guess now that New Orleans is in no shape to party, we’re number two. WHOO! NUMBER 2, BABY!

There were lots of creative costumes to be seen over the last two nights. Unfortunately, since my camera got stolen in China I couldn’t take any pictures. But I do have pictures of my costume, which I think turned out pretty nicely.
